Rantum on Sylt
Between tidal flats and waves. Pure natural bliss.
The small but beautiful island village of Rantum is characterized by the passionate relationship between water and land. As a haven of peace, surrounded by the natural forces of the Wadden Sea and the North Sea, the narrowest place on the island, at just 550 meters wide, is perhaps even Sylt’s biggest stage. This applies both to the unique spectacle of flora and fauna and to special cultural events. In addition to the Söl’ring Hof, which has been awarded two Michelin stars, there are also various culinary addresses to discover and enjoy. Rantum has that original charm, the quieter, unagitated Sylt with very pure nature and many retreats. From Rantum harbor and the Rantum basin to the Tadjem Deel, Samoa and Zanzibar beach sections, this special place between Westerland and Hörnum has many wonderful vacation moments in store.
